Job Summary and Qualifications

• Strong sense of spiritual identity to function capably and ecumenically in an interdisciplinary setting, providing spiritual care in terms of the receiver’s spirituality.
• Understanding of diverse theological perspectives, religious traditions and denominational policy.
• Accountable for the implementation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess and improve performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree from an accredited university. A Master’s level degree from a recognized seminary or divinity school, or an equivalent sufficient to achieve certification in the stated pastoral care cognate group.
• Certified and in good standing with a national pastoral care cognate group recognized by CMS.
• Have completed 4 units (1600 hours) of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) or having at least 1 unit and working towards completion of a minimum of 4 units.
• Current ecclesiastical endorsement in a faith group with ordination/vocation.
• Minimum of 1 year, 1600 hours of pastoral experience, including Clinical Pastoral Education
