As the USA East Channel Manager, you have an entrepreneurial spirit, and will be responsible for defining and executing upon the strategic goals for Sales and Marketing efforts in delivering growth with our regional Channel Partners. This will include building key stakeholder relationships, identifying business trends for growth opportunities and working with the sales team to determine channel partner development priorities. To achieve success, you must be able to understand challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and plan and execute on training and development, commercial and marketing activities to increase the focus and competence of our business partners. You will interact with the Ross Video regional sales team to identify the partners to work with, share intelligence on opportunities and educate partners on solution fit. Ideally, you’ve experience working as a business partner or managing business partners in the Broadcast/Media solutions or product business, specifically in live video production / studio production.
You would work from a home-based office located in Eastern USA and be supported by our sales team in the region and our headquarters in Canada. You have experience and previous success in sales with Video Production Solutions. You are passionately committed to customer service and are prepared to develop business relationships on a face-to-face basis throughout the whole of the region. You have a well-honed ability to communicate compellingly at all levels of an organization both in written and verbal form.

What the job is all about:
  • Represent Ross Video to our Business Partners in Eastern USA
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans with key business partners, reviewing and measuring success regularly
  • Develop product and solution curriculums for partner training
  • Work with the USA Regional marketing team to develop a coherent plan around business partner communications and marketing activities including exhibitions and events
  • Use the Ross Video partner program to increase indirect sales revenues with channel partners
  • Review Partner Program for enhancement to grow revenues
  • Support regional sales managers to hit monthly quota targets through indirect sales development
  • Build key, long-term relationships with partner executives and management
  • Deliver sales presentations and training to channel partners in the territory
  • Structure and deliver key announcements to partners
  • Perform market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Use your passion for technology workflow, and solutions to continue to improve our solution fit offered by partners
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product and partner relations.
  • Assist other departments within organization to prepare marketing plans specific to the territory.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Review articles in trade publications to keep abreast of technological developments in types of professional equipment merchandised
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as required
Who you are:
  • Experience Selling & Marketing Video Solutions and/or Live Production Equipment to channel partners
  • Familiarity with channel partners and consultants through the territory
  • Experience in establishing partner networks for Video Production Solutions
  • Strategic vision

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
