CPAs are desired, but not required for the position. Position does require an accounting degree, but we will consider applicants with substantial applicable work history in lieu of a degree in accounting.

What You Will Be Doing

· Works with the team to prepare and review tax returns.

· Provides timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations

· Recognizes and informs management of opportunities to increase the level of client service

· Handles routine client tax questions

· Completes research and special projects as needed.

What You Need for this Position

· 3 or more years of relevant tax preparation experience in public accounting

· Strong technical skills in accounting and tax

· Understanding of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance

· Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as good computer skills

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Self-motivated

· QuickBooks proficiency

· Substantial bookkeeping or General Ledger accounting experience.

· UltraTax Software, Caseware and PPC Smart-E exposure/experience a huge plus but not mandatory.
