Options for Senior America, a 34 year old home health care agency is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide in-home care for senior adults in the metro Atlanta, GA area. We have cases available to start immediately. If you are a Georgia state licensed CNA who would like to provide one-on-one care for a senior adult in his or her home this job is for you.

I. Job Description:

Assist with all activities of daily living

Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care requirements

Medication reminders

Companionship

Full transfers

Light housekeeping

Meal preparation

Transport to and from shopping and appointments

II. Requirements:

Must be a Georgia state licensed CNA

Must have at least one year experience in home health care

Must be dedicated, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of the elderly

Must be willing to travel to and around assigned case area

Must be able to successfully pass a background screening

Driver's License and personally owned vehicle REQUIRED

Must be able to transport client if required

We are looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented individual to be an integral part of our Long Term Care and Home Health team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with compassion, energy and a genuine interest in caring for the elderly. Our Nursing Assistants are primarily responsible for assisting patients in their every day needs and making sure they are comfortable.

Responsibilities:

• Work with patients and assist in their daily living needs.
• Monitor patients throughout the day.
• Communicate with doctors and other medical professionals.
• Be aware of the patient's psychological needs and respond to appropriately.
• Be aware of infection control procedures.
• Help patients eat, drink, dress and undress, go to the bathroom, and move around.
• Document patients' conditions.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
