We are looking for a transformational, passionate leader to take the reins of Stonerise Summersville, a 90-bed transitional and skilled nursing care building under construction and set to open September 2022. Stonerise Summersville is designed for the future and we need a leader who can lead a team across levels of acuity and service excellence with each and enthusiasm. We need a leader who is entrepreneurial with the drive to get the operations, clinical programming, and community engagement off the ground. This leader will be instrumental before opening and after opening - putting the building blocks in place to build a team of talent to make Stonerise Summersville excel for years to come across all aspects of patient, patient family, team member, community, and referral partner success.

As a Stonerise CEO/Senior Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall vision and execution of center operations, employee engagement, fiscal management, and customer (both patient, family and partner) service. You will work with your team to create an environment that is progressive in its approach to the delivery of healthcare. You will design and direct services and activities of the center to assure that the highest degree of quality is consistently provided to patients and other customers. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

  • Promoting favorable public relations and serving as a spokesperson and role model in representing the center in the community.
  • Developing deep relationships with local and regional key referring partners.
  • Leading the center's interdisciplinary team in daily activities, establishing an atmosphere/culture of respect, dignity, compassion, and excellence.
  • Overseeing and guiding department managers in optimizing leadership skills to promote patient goodwill and employee retention and engagement; plus, the use of departmental policies and procedures, work tools, promoting professional standards, and other management responsibilities.
  • Contributing and maintaining rigorous programming and forecasting around admission, care planning, and discharging across all center clinical programming.
  • Contributing to the development and revision of policies, procedures, guidelines, tools, and systems that govern and guide center practices.
  • Ensuring patients' rights are maintained, including confidentiality of patient information, honoring residents' personal property, etc.
  • Overseeing physical plant and plant operations, conducting rounds on a regular basis.
  • Reviewing, evaluating, and addressing work performance for staff. Participating in hiring, morale building, retention, disciplinary action, firing, as indicated. Following and overseeing personnel requirements as listed in policies, procedures, employee handbook.

Education, Licensure Certification Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree or above; Masters' preferred
  • Professional license, in good standing, as Nursing Home Administrator in the state of WV - OR - from another state and willing to achieve a WV license once hired.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in customer service, management, and preferably healthcare
