Cashier/Server Job at Bamboo Teri House
Who we are: Bamboo Teri House is a well-established, small family owned Japanese restaurant in Bixby Knolls that has been in business for almost 40 years. The atmosphere is low stress, and many of our employees have been with us for over 10 years.
Who we are looking for: We are searching for someone that is customer focused, technologically adept, and is familiar with networking on social media. Experience in customer service, full service restaurant during dinner time
Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers with take-out orders, being able to explain the menu in detail, processing monetary transactions, guiding customers to their table, assist server with preparing checks, taking orders at either the counter (at lunch) or tableside (at dinner), running food to tables, maintaining a clean and tidy dining room
Hours: we are very flexible with our scheduling. Looking for someone that can work part-time, either lunch shift (approximately 11-4) or dinner shift (4-8:30pm)
Compensation: starts at $14.00 per hour for training period of 2-4 weeks. Once completed training, rate will increase to $15.00 per hour plus tip pool; you will be evaluated after 6 months if you are eligible for an increased hourly pay depending on your performance
Room for Advancement: Advancement to shift leader will be based on performance in the first 6 months and responsibilities will include (but not limited to) scheduling, management of POS system, and training new employees. A pay raise will be implemented upon promotion to shift leader $17.50 per hour
