POSITION SUMMARY
The SUDS Case Manager provides services such as screening, support, brief intervention, collateral services, training, education and guidance to youth and families.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide prevention services in the community, including in schools and at probation locations.
- Conduct individual screenings, refer to treatment services when necessary, and facilitate individual and group services as indicated and completes all related documentation.
- Actively utilize clinical supervision to develop and refine intervention skills and strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree in Behavioral Health or Social Science (or related discipline) and 6 months’ work experience OR Associate Degree in Social Science discipline and 1 year experience working with youth; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of child welfare, behavioral health, education, and/or criminal justice systems preferred. Experience working with youth strongly preferred.
- Possession of a valid California Driver License and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass/complete employment clearances through FBI & DOJ, TB test, etc.
