As a Carpenter you will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
· Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
· Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
· Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
· Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools
· Ability to work around mobile and heavy equipment in a fast paced environment.
· Stand for 8 hours
· Able to work on ladders
· Work in the rain, snow, and cold
Skills and Qualifications
· Strong capacity for teamwork

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Louisiana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Carpentry: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (Preferred)
