Exciting opportunity to become part of a team at Streamline Kitchens and Baths. We are a full home remodeling company that specializes in kitchens and baths. We also provide services for decks, plumbing, tile, flooring, countertops, and more! We service Hunterdon, Warren, Somerset Counties, and Eastern PA (within 1 hour radius from store front). We are seeking an apprentice level installer to train and expand skill level. Carpentry skills and own tools are preferred, but we are willing to train the right person!

Applicants must be:

• Willing to learn, expand current knowledge base, and have a can-do attitude who likes to take initiative
• Reliable, honest, and punctual
• Eye for detail and takes pride in their work
• Able to lift heavy and bulk size objects
• Have a current driver's license with a clean driving and background record
• Willing to listen and take direction

Duties will include but are not limited to (training will be provided as needed):

• Installation of cabinetry, trim, flooring, tile, countertops, hardware, plumbing products, painting, and more
• Operating power tools, hand tools, and machinery
• Reading of measurements and architectural plans
• Work unsupervised or with other people
• Maintain clean work area, shop, van, and tools
• Organizational skills

This is for a full-time position that requires flexibility in schedule and (1) one mandatory Saturday a month (additional available as needed). General hours are 8:00 - 4:30 Monday through Friday (with 30 minutes unpaid for lunch). Job may require earlier arrival or to stay later dependent upon circumstances at a job. Saturdays will be worked out between employer and employee on a monthly basis.

Travel: Employee must be able to drive company van when required or will accompany another employee to site. You will not be required to drive your personal vehicle to jobsite. Day will start at store front (Flemington) or warehouse location (Phillipsburg).

Benefits: Employee will be provided with the option to take medical and dental insurance after a 90-day probationary period at a discounted rate. Paid time off for holidays and personal time will be provided after (1) one year employment with company or sooner if decided by owner based on performance.

The hourly rate will be determined by previous experience and understanding of the trade.
