We are also looking for direct support staff who are looking to advance in their career. What are the responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional in a medical setting?
- You will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLS) for adult individuals with disabilities.
- Cooking and feeding of meals, ambulating and positioning of individuals based on activity, bathing, clothing, and toileting.
- Documentation and recording of pertinent medial information or observations.
- Transporting individuals in the community for appointment and activities.
- Many of our medical programs allow our direct support professionals to working alongside a clinical team, seasoned nursing staff- learning awaits.
How about the responsibilities of an Assistant Group Home Manager?
- Administration support with scheduling, documentation and creation of individualized treatment plans.
- Provides shift supervision, direction, and training to direct care staff and overall daily operations of the program in the Residential Program Manager’s absence.
- Helping with activities of daily living - these include personal care or cooking & arranging and transporting residents to appointments.
- Assisting individuals to achieve their goals - providing hands-on support to the individuals based on their preferences and abilities and implementing treatment plans.
- Community integration - integrating individuals with disabilities into the community to participate in work, recreation, leisure, volunteer activities and socialization skills.

Schedule: We are hiring for all shifts - day, evening, and overnight. At least one weekend day availability required.
Pay Rate: $17.25- $18.25 / hour
Program Locations Include: Brookfield, Newtown, New Milford, Danbury, Bethel, Ridgefield, New Fairfield
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license & vehicle
- Willingness to learn!
- No experience needed for Entry Level, 2 years of experience required for APRM Positions!
