$1500 Sign-on Bonus

$1500 Sign-on Bonus for all Full Time and Part-Time Positions. Payroll taxes and withholdings apply. Paid in two equal installments with the paychecks following 90 and 180 days of employment. Employee must work at a least half time to earn the bonus: 250 hours within 90 days and 500 hours within 180 days. Limit one bonus per person during promo period.

JOB SUMMARY: Caregiver

The Caregiver/Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides personal care, companion care, nursing assistance, and other assigned tasks to residents living in Eskaton communities. The Resident Care Associate duties include direct resident care, assisting in daily living activities, grocery or personal shopping, errands, and other domestic tasks as well as documentation of care provided. Duties and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the Resident Care Coordinator based on an evaluation of resident needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred. Proficient ability to communicate orally and in writing in the English Language.

Training and Expertise: Six (6) months of experience in providing personal care in a residential or long-term care setting preferred. Valid/Current first aid certification.

Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge in performing personal care services in a residential environment. Ability to meet new or stressful situations with the appropriate responses. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, to share information freely, to use and seek supervision and consultation verbally and in writing, and be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Job Summary: Med Tech

The primary purpose of the Resident Medication Assistant (RMA) position is to assist residents with the self-administration of medications as ordered by the resident's primary physician. RMAs also have duties that involve Direct Resident Care. These duties can include but are not limited to providing residents with companionship, assisting in residents' activities of daily living, and assisting residents in the safe execution of exercise programs as directed by nursing or therapy staff.

Qualifications (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING):

Education: High school or G.E.D. preferred.

  • Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in communicating orally and in writing in the English language.

Training and Experience: Two years of experience working in long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.

Job Knowledge: Applicants must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of medications commonly prescribed to the elderly and possess the ability to implement policies and procedures in assisting with medication dispensing.

  • Should possess knowledge in performing personal care services in a residential environment.
  • Should possess the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, to share information freely, to use and seek supervision and consultation verbally and in writing, and be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
