Pediatric Cardiologist- Thomas Memorial Hospital

West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks a Pediatric Cardiologist. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in South Charleston, WV.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a pediatrics residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Pediatric Cardiology .All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

The successful candidate will join our growing Division of Pediatric Cardiology and will support patient population on the Children's Hospital campus and throughout the state through our robust pediatric cardiology outreach program that includes outreach clinics, telemedicine clinics and outreach diagnostic testing . We currently have specialists in the areas of general cardiology, advanced imaging, interventional catheterization, noninvasive and invasive electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease and preventive cardiology.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in all areas of Pediatric Cardiology. Duties will include outpatient clinics, emergency department, inpatient consults and call from home.

Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services and outreach clinics, telemedicine clinics, and consults to other healthcare facilities at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
