Birch Trail is seeking a tennis instructor for summer 2023. This is a great job for college tennis players who are looking to get more experience coaching and teaching kids.
The Head Tennis Instructor manages and oversees the entire tennis program, including teaching tennis to campers for three project periods per day, and teaching private and group lessons. Particular job responsibilities include:
- Leading group tennis lessons;
- Providing individualized instruction during private lessons;
- Designing lesson plans for both group and individual instruction;
- Supervising and training other tennis staff;
- Organizing two tennis tournaments and other special event days;
- Providing minimal basic maintenance of tennis equipment; and
- Assisting in other areas of the camp program when needed.
Outside of teaching tennis, our camp tennis instructor will be an active part of the Birch Trail Community! They will assist in care for cabins if needed, participate in our evening programs, and help out in all areas around camp throughout the day.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $300.00 - $600.00 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- On call
