JOB SUMMARY

Brownwood Hotel and Spa in the Villages, FL is seeking a Busser/Food Runner to provide assistance to our Servers at our Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Restaurant. Bussers/Food Runner's ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for patrons. Position pays $10.85 + Tips, The Busser/Food Runner's responsibilities include preparing and refilling beverages, assisting Servers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus within the established “Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group” standards in every aspect.

This position requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior restaurant experience is preferred, but not required. Applicant needs to have outstanding customer service skills to be considered for the position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Wipe tables and seats with sanitized cloths and replace dirty table linens.
• Set tables with clean linens, condiments, and other supplies.
• Scrape, stack and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchen for cleaning.
• Clean up spilled food, drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Perform serving, cleaning, and stocking duties in dining areas to facilitate customer service.
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays.
• Serve ice water, coffee, rolls, and butter to patrons.
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
• Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
• Maintains high standards of personal appearance, hygiene and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Stand and Walk with heavy trays/tubs (up to 50 pounds).
