The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $20.00 to $25.88.
This position is non-exempt under the FLSA.

About the Position
The Business Systems Coordinator acts as a liaison between management, users, and technical professionals. The Business Systems Coordinator provides functional analysis of Adult Probation IT systems and related applications and is responsible for assisting in the identification, development, and recommendation of business process changes and improvements. This new Business Systems Coordinator position will provide input on the configuration and rollout of the new Probation Case Management System. Once implemented, this position will provide ongoing support to the system and its end users.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- Five (5) years of experience in business systems analysis demonstrated through roles in systems analysis, programming, support, or the documentation of business and technical requirements
OR
Combined education and experience qualifications:
- An equivalent combination of post high school education in a related field, and professional job-related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements on a year for year basis
Our Preferred Candidate has:
- Direct experience with Adult Probation Department business systems
Other Requirements:
- Must possess, or obtain by time of hire, a valid Arizona driver’s license
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Methodologies and techniques for systems analysis and design, business process modeling, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and software development
- Microsoft Office Suite applications
Skill in:

- Analyzing and organizing technical data

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

- Troubleshoots problems and liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations to collaborate on solutions.
- Analyzes the feasibility of system enhancements to ensure the system design fits the needs of the users.
- Manages change requests related to the working project plans in order to meet deadlines
- Monitors APD’s Case Management System’s queue to ensure customer service is provided in a timely manner.
- Develops and provides formal and informal instruction to staff.
- Interfaces with technical counterparts within other organizational departments to address critical issues.
- Works closely with programming and systems employee groups to test implemented solutions or system modifications.
- Creates project diagrams, flowcharts, and written process documentation.
- Provides technical guidance and direction to staff, information services professionals, and business leaders.
- Assists with end-user training.
- Interprets and translates technical terms to make them understandable to the end-user.
- Provides project status updates and escalates issues as appropriate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak clearly and hear; see details of objects that are less than a few feet away; sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally push, pull or lift up to 20 pounds.
