Job Summary
The Business Support performs a variety of simple and repetitive tasks to support the operations of a specific Business Unit. Tasks may vary according to the particular needs of each business unit but for the most part this position will ensure operational/clerical support by assuming the bulk of administrative tasks and will interface with internal/external customers as is required by the business area.
Essential Responsibilities
· Performs clerical tasks related to different work activities as required
· Receives and greets visitors (internal and external clients), responds to inquiries and refers to appropriate person.
· Writes, types, or enters information into computer to complete customer record in system.
· Answers telephone and conveys messages.
· Calls customers to confirm accuracy of the personal information on the Loan Applications e.g., mailing and physical address, telephone number, close relative information, etc.
· Makes any necessary corrections in the APPRO system of personal information confirmed by customer to be different from Loan Application.
· Confirms with customers details of the vehicle e.g., make, model, features, color, # of doors, etc. as to ascertain that the vehicle being financed is the same as Purchase Order and Contract
· Calls workplaces of applicants to confirm accuracy of information on Loan Applications as to income, position, time at job, etc.
· Enters notes in APPRO system for each application of persons contacted and information confirmed/verified for customer as well as workplace.
· For each case processed answers questions in APPRO Application Manager, Upfront Inspection.
· Review that terms and conditions of approval are as establish by Front-End.
· Analyze and assure that income evidence complies with policies and regulations.
· Verified Insurance policies complies with all term and condition as to safeguard the banks interest.
· Verified that contract contains all supporting documents as to comply with regulation and policies, dully complemented and sign by parties.
· Ascertained that financial balance in system prior to approving disbursement.
· Ascertained that financial balance in system prior to approving Transmission of all contracts.
· Perform accounting entries for the transaction process during the disbursement process.
· Controls and maintains filing system for the reports used to balance daily disbursements.
· Proofreads records or forms, counts, weighs, or measures material.
· Controls and maintains filing system for reports and/or contracts.
· Photocopies and scans documents as needed by the department.
· Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail. Stuffs envelopes by hand or with envelope stuffing machine.
· Stamps or numbers forms by hand or machine.
· Updates manuals and reference books.
Other Responsibilities
· Works on special projects/assignments as requested by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Independence of Judgment
The degree of judgment is related to the analysis of documents and data to determine if contracts are authorized to disbursement or returned to dealer for completion. Employee work under direct supervision with some discretion to vary how tasks are performed or schedule.
Impact of Errors
The impact of errors of this position could increase risk on the bank interest.

Work Environment
Employees in this job work in an office environment with a comfortable room temperature, good lighting, and quiet conditions. During brief periods of time the employee may be exposed to the external city/urban environment if performing any duties that require time or travel outside of the office (Only applicable to some areas).

Minimum Requirements
Associate Degree in Business and no experience or high school diploma and one to two years of relevant experience.
