The Position:

Business Development Representative

The Business Development Executive (BDR) serves as a source of contact, outreach, and sales for EduMind and School of PE. They are a key member of the sales team and are responsible for meeting outreach and sales goals and metrics. The BDR will report to the Director of Business Development and will have regular meetings and conversations about professional development. BDRs will have responsibility for organizing contacts, cold call prospecting, lead prospecting, taking sales calls, and other sales administrative tasks. They will need to develop a deep understanding of the business and use the expertise to drive value, sales, and growth to the Edumind and School of PE (SoPE) brands. BDRs will need to engage with clients, including but not limited to, colleges and universities, military, city, county, and state government agencies, engineering and architecture firms, and corporate businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Sales Calls and Outreach for Business Development Executive (90%):

Ø Systematic communication with customers via phone, email, and cold calls to set up meetings for Business Development Executive or Director of Business Development to convert from prospect to client. Expectation of making 60+ cold calls per day.

Ø Set goals to drive the business upward and maintain the goals monthly, quarterly, yearly in accordance with Director of Business Development and Company goals

Ø Engaging with incoming corporate sales opportunities for training, exam prep licensing, and discounting

Ø A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to adjust quickly. Organize the daily workload by priorities

Ø Evoke a strong desire and commitment to contacting sales contacts and leads and a can-do attitude for growing sales

Ø Consistent and proactive engagement with clients, including but not limited to, colleges and universities, military, city, county, and state government agencies, engineering and architecture firms, and corporate businesses.

Ø Responsible for meeting outreach goals set by Director of Business Development

Administrative and Organizational (10%):

Ø Organization of contact lists and leads lists for sales calls provided from marketing and acquisitions teams

Ø Identify potential clients to create a database of likely customers

Ø Maintain database via CRM to include but not limited to client name, address, phone, contacts, email addresses, websites, quotes, and sales

Ø Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ø Exceptionally driven self-starter with proven abilities to excel in a fast-paced sales environment

Ø 1 - 5 years of sales experience (SAAS experience greatly preferred)

Ø Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ø Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ø Willingness to travel as needed to attend industry events and meet with client
