Business Development Manager
As a flexible packaging manufacturer, INDEVCO Plastics designs and manufactures sustainable plastic films and bags that promote a circular economy. Our end markets range from beverage, processed food, and pet food, to building and construction, industrial salt and minerals, lawn, and garden. We work closely with packaging converters and packaging machinery manufacturers.

How you will perform the role
This role is typically the first point of contact for managing all incoming leads for the Plastics Division of INDEVCO. Qualifies accounts to provide effective strategic and tactical sales direction and communications to profitably develop new business. Works cross functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Product Development and R&D. Implements strategy, business and marketing plans for new accounts including market research, competitive intelligence, product positioning, product line evolution and product innovation. This role is focused on developing new business growth by new account acquisition, lead generation, and prospecting pre-qualified leads that align with INDEVCO’s growth and strategy plan.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver strategic sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for new business accounts.- Deliver and convert new business via the inbound web lead process
- Develop new business through lead generation, prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Open accounts by developing new business opportunities in the flexible films industry
- Possess a detailed knowledge of INDEVCO, our products, the industry and competitive market, enabling the business to solidify itself as an industry leader and fulfil INDEVCO’s Winning Aspiration to be the leading global packaging company
- Manage the complexities of account(s) in support of customer needs
- Build relationships with customers based upon trust and respect
- Orchestrate and lead key business negotiations, supporting INDEVCO’s interests demonstrating an ability to influence decision and actions
- Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contribution to the business unit for monthly management reporting
- Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results
- Work with Strategic Marketing to identify, analyze and recommend actions to meet strategic unmet customer needs
- Build highly collaborative relationships between INDEVCO and your account/s to include senior leadership, procurement, engineering, quality, operations, sales management, support teams, key INDEVCO global contacts etc. with a view of enhancing sales initiatives and profitably while meeting customer needs
- Responsible for the management of Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM tool
- Coordinates Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service in support of validation trials and customer trials
- Communicates competitive developments in his/her account base regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicates intelligence to management through the Monthly Report system
- Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities, promoting an environment where each employee makes safety their priority

Experience & Education
Bachelors in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines and pressure
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
