Bundle Prep Job at Best Home Furnishings
Best Home Furnishings is seeking qualified individuals for Bundle Prep. The bundle prep associate will operate the shredder, stuff fiber and foam into product, unload, sort, and fold product into bundles.
Essential functions include the following:
- Learn various model numbers, thread colors, and read tags
- Use shredder to blow fiber into cushions according to guidelines
- Use of water based glue gun
- Use staple gun to apply cardboard or pad
- Unload and load product, sort and stage product and/or carts
- Operate stand up hector sewing machine
- Learn and perform the sewing prep processes
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Maintain a consistent work pace
- Able to use a foot control for stuffing machine
- Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime
- Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
- Must be organized
- Must be self-motivated and able to function well in a team environment
- Able to work independently and demonstrate proper judgment
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs as production dictates
- Lifting weight: 20 lbs. – 30 lbs. frequent
Education or experience required: High school or equivalent
