Building Service Technician I Job at Pennington County, SD
The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an energetic and efficient applicant to join our Maintenance team as a Building Tech. This position will be staffed at the Care Campus, Sunday-Thursday from 9:30 am-6:00 pm. Duties may include but are not limited to:
Performs all activities required to maintain cleanliness and sanitation- Cleans and maintains hard surface floors by regularly scrubbing, mopping and waxing
- Cleans and maintains the appearance of walls, woodwork and ceilings using the appropriate cleaning tools and painting when necessary
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms
- Collects and removes refuse from office and building areas
- Washes windows and glasswork as necessary
- Maintains records relating to the facility care and maintenance
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1 year of building maintenance experience is preferred
License/Certification: SD Driver's License within 90 days of state residency
Applicants will be screened based on reported qualifications and selected for panel interview. Upon conditional offer, applicants will undergo a comprehensive background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.
