Building Maintenance Associate Job at Denso
Summary:
Building maintenance and repair work using full range of measuring, gauging, analysis, machine and hand tools to perform maintenance work including HVAC and Electrical repairs.
Duties:
- Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, robotic, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles of operation.
- Reads and interprets diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions to perform maintenance and repair work.
- Uses full range of measuring, gauging, analysis, machine and hand tools to o perate machines and visually inspect equipment, controls and components.
- Advises operators of standard operating procedures and requirements for working safely with production equipment.
- Utilize the forklifts for moving equipment and tools throughout the facility.
- Communicates maintenance problems, results, corrective actions, and recommendations to the chain-of-command, and to the customer as needed.
- Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company standards or policies.
- Works with other trades as part of a maintenance team – engineering, machinist, die maintenance, administrative personnel, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned by chain-of-command.
Education & Required Work Experience:
- High school diploma or completion of high school equivalence exam required
- 2 years of industrial maintenance education or experience with extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance
- Completion of formal apprenticeship training program or 2 years of industrial maintenance education or experience with extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance in HVAC and electrical systems
- 2 - 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance or technically relative field
- 1+ years demonstrated abilities troubleshooting, modifying, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on automated industrial equipment
- Proficient in operating a forklift
- Demonstrated cross-functional experience/skills: HVAC, PLC, HMI, Ladder Logic, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems
- Must have knowledge and practical experience of basic electronics theory
- Should have a demonstrated ability to plan/prioritize work
- PC skills in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) hardware, and windows operations
- Must not be color-blind
- Must be able to work at heights of 20 feet on ladder/lifts
Salary: Starting at $60,000
