Summary:

Building maintenance and repair work using full range of measuring, gauging, analysis, machine and hand tools to perform maintenance work including HVAC and Electrical repairs.

Duties:

  • Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, robotic, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles of operation.
  • Reads and interprets diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions to perform maintenance and repair work.
  • Uses full range of measuring, gauging, analysis, machine and hand tools to o perate machines and visually inspect equipment, controls and components.
  • Advises operators of standard operating procedures and requirements for working safely with production equipment.
  • Utilize the forklifts for moving equipment and tools throughout the facility.
  • Communicates maintenance problems, results, corrective actions, and recommendations to the chain-of-command, and to the customer as needed.
  • Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company standards or policies.
  • Works with other trades as part of a maintenance team – engineering, machinist, die maintenance, administrative personnel, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by chain-of-command.

Education & Required Work Experience:

  • High school diploma or completion of high school equivalence exam required
  • 2 years of industrial maintenance education or experience with extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance
  • Completion of formal apprenticeship training program or 2 years of industrial maintenance education or experience with extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance in HVAC and electrical systems
  • 2 - 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance or technically relative field
  • 1+ years demonstrated abilities troubleshooting, modifying, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on automated industrial equipment
  • Proficient in operating a forklift
  • Demonstrated cross-functional experience/skills: HVAC, PLC, HMI, Ladder Logic, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems
  • Must have knowledge and practical experience of basic electronics theory
  • Should have a demonstrated ability to plan/prioritize work
  • PC skills in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) hardware, and windows operations
  • Must not be color-blind
  • Must be able to work at heights of 20 feet on ladder/lifts

Salary: Starting at $60,000
