Job Description:
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- Five to seven years banking experience strongly recommended.
- Three years of management/supervisory experience recommended.
- Two years of sales experience recommended, specific to; networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Knowledge of basic sales and marketing techniques.
- Ability to motivate others and effect change in both staff and branch growth.
- 10 Key, computer skills and/or basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, cash handling, math skills, communication skills, work flexible hours, maintain confidentiality, supervisory & personal banker training.
- Ability to effectively and properly communicate both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of all financial products available to customers.
- Ability to evaluate needs of customers and determine what products or service would best serve those needs.
- Ability to give direction to employees directly reporting to them.
- Good interpersonal skills are required.
- Ensures Bank policies and procedures are followed per job title.
General Description:
Direct responsibility of management in the development of branch staff as well as branch growth.
Oversees all operations of entire branch (Platform, Teller, including but not limited to some loan areas). Handles more complex customer issues/services, manages all staff and staff related issues.
Works with Branch Administration and HR when hiring new employees.. Develops customer relations/sales/services. Manages all new accounts/customer for bank, process overdraft, non- posts and return item decisions, contacts appropriate party. Opens/closes accounts. Responds to various teller/banker needs: i.e. training/customer issues, overrides and maintenance. Ensures bank compliance and regulations are being followed on a daily basis. Works with Branch
Administration to organize team meetings and training sessions and is responsible for completion of various projects/reports for all branches.

Business Development Functions:
Acquires and manages new business relations as well as expanding and retaining existing customer relationships. Ensures that branch meets or exceeds cross sell performance. Assists branch with developing retail-lending relationships. Proactively manage staff schedules to ensure business development is continuous and consistent.
Working Conditions:
Normal professional office environment. Depending on location, office space may be confined.
Extended periods of standing or sitting.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
