Summary: Directs and coordinates activities of outlet personnel and is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the corporate factory outlet store by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Must have strong business acumen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the retail store function to ensure the highest level of service, efficiency, and profitability.

Monitors sales and financial targets, including the annual budget.

Organizes, supervises, and directs the day-to-day work of personnel. Understand the Retail Mastery System and helps employees learn.

Addresses all questions or problems that may arise from both employees and customers. Seeks input from the CFO as necessary.

Selects new employees from pool of candidates HR provides. Trains new and existing employees and conducts performance reviews for personnel; confers with HR regarding pay adjustments.

Trains new employees in sales techniques including fact finding and building rapport with customers, cash register, inventory procedure, opening and closing of the store.

Ensure store image, merchandise presentation, cleanliness and maintains a professional appearance that includes the building of store displays and signage.

Oversees the organization of storage area, sizing, styles, and pricing of garments. Ensures timely rotation of date sensitive merchandise.

Develops plan for purchasing all inventory to match overall merchandising plans. Ensures purchases are made within the open to buy budget, maximize margins, and that items are appropriate for the Boutiquelet.

Prepares and maintains daily and monthly work schedules for all sales associates.

Coordinates sales promotions and Artisans orders with the goal of reducing Artisans inventory and raw materials.

Responsible for building and maintaining customer database on social media sites and e-mail marketing sites. Includes maintaining required contracts, domains or subscriptions with media database companies.

Responsible for all aspects for Boutiquelet marketing; development of promotions, creation of advertising content, coordinates multiple media sources, and works within marketing budget.

Examples: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc…

Must have strong skills in digital merchandising and in store merchandising. Keeps the product on the website fresh and updated regularly.

Manages Paylocity(HRIS system) for staff.

Is able to work a minimum of one to two weekends per month. Must also be able to work extended shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsible for obtaining, renewing and posting of liquor licenses. Ensures the staff in proper trained and complies with all alcohol laws. Including the required record keeping.

Maintains daily and monthly inventory reports, forwarding copies to correct personnel. Compiles month end sales reports for management’s review.

Plans, coordinates, and conducts all aspects of the end of year inventory.

Orders all business, housekeeping and office supplies. Responsible for coordinating SDS’s for new product with Safety Coordinator.

Monitors, maintains, and coordinates maintenance of all aspects of Boutiquelet’s physical assets including the building and equipment.

Develops strategic plan that outlines sales promotion activities, sales goals, profit margins, etc. and prepares, or directs workers preparing merchandise displays and signage.

Performs other duties as needed.
