Bindery Machine Operator Job at Entourage Yearbooks
Entourage Yearbooks is one of the fastest growing yearbook companies in the country. We are looking to grow our staff to produce and provide the most advanced yearbook experience in the industry. We are currently looking to hire motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Production Team.
The Bindery Operator is responsible for operating the production equipment including binders, trimmers, and case-in equipment to achieve shift production volume and meet defined safety and quality standards.
Other responsibilities include:
o Learning to operate bindery workstations as assigned.
o Executing timely re-supply of raw materials while operating production equipment
o Learning to assess quality of manufactured product and report unacceptable product to lead operator and/or specialist when equipment is not operating effectively.
Experience and Qualifications:
o Experience operating book manufacturing or any production equipment a plus but not required.
o Strong attention to detail along with the ability to be trained to read job sheets.
o Able to stand for extended periods of time
o Ability to take instruction from Senior Press and/ or Binder Lead
o Ability to learn quality assessment of the book components and assist in identifying potential quality issues
o Work overtime / shift work as may be needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
