Billing Manager

Parker, PLLC, is currently seeking a Full-Time experienced Billing Manager to our team. The Billing Manager will work closely with firm management to track bills through LSS, Counsel Link, Legal Exchange, and various other billing systems and efficiently appeal reduced charges to ensure maximum payment to the firm.
Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, professional attitude, and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 to 4 or more years hands-on eBilling experience preferably in a law firm environment.
- CLIO (or equivalent) legal accounting software experience.
- Familiarity with multiple e-billing vendor systems and outside counsel guidelines such as CounselLink, LegalExchange, LSS, Legal X and other related platforms.
- High level of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a customer service approach and attitude to problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively and efficiently complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business Management, Finance, Accounting.
- Looking to grow with Parker, PLLC as well as the demands required by the current growth cycle of the firm.
Duties and responsibilities of Billing Manager
· Generate and submit all hourly, flat fee and expense bills
· Approve and submit appeals
· Approve and manage write offs
· Post incoming payments to CLIO
· Produce and maintain reporting
· Maintain budgets and staffing plans in billing software (Budget to be provided by Michael Parker)
· Review and approve billing entries
· Reconcile weekly deposits
· Set up billing profiles for new matters/clients
· Record expenses due in Quickbooks once payment is received.
· Submit, Track and manage expenses and vendor bills through the appropriate workflows.
· Follow up on expense payments as directed by Billing Manager
· Track and manage incoming appeal submission to Billing Manager and timekeeper
· Track and record invoice approvals
· Record incoming payments in CLIO
· Set up billing for new referrals
· Collections
· Process images daily of all checks received
· Ensure all billing entries are timely entered and reviewed
· Provide all required backup documentation for expense and fees
· Obtain a weekly deposit report
· Develop and provide matter budgets and staffing plans where applicable
· Onboard new referrals, set up new cases in Clio.
· Provide up to 2 hour of training per month on billing procedures and rules to billing staff at the firm.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
