Pacific Mobile is recruiting for a BI Data Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for the full life cycle development, implementation, production, support, and performance tuning of the Business Intelligence Reporting environments, and support the integration of those systems with other applications. You will have a deep understanding of available business data resources and work closely with SME's and leadership to design and implement reporting and analytical solutions that provide complex financial modeling, forecasting and data reports that meet our business needs. This data is used to measure organizational performance and identify new opportunities for improvement in conjunction with sharing what is going well.

Salary Range: $95k - $110k with additional $10k project-based bonus opportunity.

In this role you will be responsible to:

• Work with department leaders to establish Key Performance Indicators and dashboards that present relevant and useful data.
• Provide assistance with requests for non-standard reports and analysis
• Translate requests from stakeholders into actionable reports
• Meet with stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate progress
• Collaborate with team members in one-on-one setting
• Prep data for reports and analysis
• Support automated report distributions
• Be responsible for the diagnosis and support of Power BI reporting solutions, including investigation of data issues, data validation, scalability, balancing and row level security implementation
• Design new Power BI Dashboard and SSAS cube solutions from requirements and from an understanding of organizational business needs.
• Develop Hierarchy SSAS model to allow advanced drill-through capabilities.
• Act as a Power BI, visualization, and dash-boarding domain expert
• Through Power BI software development activities and collective understanding of the enterprise-wide business needs, promote the use of self-service products.
• Be dedicated to creating quality reports and applications and accountable for doing whatever is vital towards that end.
• Create Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to store and update key ERP & external data
• Monitor the ETL process and verify data accuracy
• Test and verify data for completeness and accuracy
• Create ad hoc queries upon requests for data

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in reporting, data visualization and presentation, BI, and/or data warehousing
• Experience in Power BI data analytics & visualizations using DAX and Power Query
• Experience in SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factories
• Experience in Microsoft SSAS Multidimensional and SSAS Tabular Models.
• Strong analytical experience with database in writing complex queries, query optimization, debugging, user defined functions, views, indexes etc.
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, relational database design and data modeling
• Ability to look beyond the detailed requirements to understand what the business is trying to do and not get lost in the details
