office is located in Napa with opportunities across Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento and
Solano counties working in the homes of the clients we serve.
Position overview:
The Behavior Interventionist works in the family’s home providing 1:1 behavioral
instruction, support to families, and implementing the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program to children with autism and other disabilities. If interested in the field of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, and/or Therapy, this is a great way to make a difference with the families and clients we serve! Behavior Interventionists are responsible for implementing treatment plans under the direction of BTS program
directors. Spanish speaking a plus, bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply*

Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 direct ABA intervention in home and community settings
- Collect and record accurate data on patient progress
- Ensure professional appearance and conduct during all session/interactions
- Communicate effectively and with compassion to all patients, families, and
- colleagues
- Work with children in their home/community providing a safe and supportive
- environment.
- Seek training opportunities to ensure clinical excellence
- Receive support from Supervisor, reviewing feedback and implementing
- changes.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance, and adhere to BTS policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A positive, flexible attitude and enthusiasm to serve children
- Ability to work collaboratively with team, and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently, and is an effective communicator
- Participation in team meetings and ongoing training
- Must be reliable and a willingness to work with a variety of patients
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
- ABA knowledge and/or experience is preferred, but not required
- RBT certified is a plus, but not required (we will support you in obtaining
- certification!)
- Spanish speaking a plus, bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
Requirements:
- Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule: typically, afternoon/evenings with some morning/weekend availability
- Ability to commit to at least 12 months of employment, without major changes in schedule or location
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to Pass DOJ/FBI fingerprinting
- Valid California Driver’s license
- Reliable transportation, and valid automobile Insurance
- Ability to provide negative TB test
- High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:
Treatment may occur in a variety of settings including but not limited to the patient’s
home, the patient’s school, the community or telehealth. Behavior Interventionists work
in environments that are both indoors and outdoors and may move between different
locations throughout the course of the workday.
