Pay rate: $16.50
Schedule:Sat 9am-5:30pm, Sun 9am-5:30pm, Mon OFF, Tues OFF, Wed 9am-5:30pm, Thu 9am-5:30pm, Fri 9am-5:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Beach Attendant is responsible for greeting guests on the beach and pool areas of the Property. Assists in the cleanliness of the designated areas, gives out water and towels to Guests and Residents.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up area prior to opening each day.
Set up tables and chairs when and where required.
Ensure equipment is working and in place.
Provide guests with towels as needed.
Show guests to available chairs and set up.
Caution swimmers of deep areas and high traffic slide area.
Rescue swimmers in danger and administer CPR, if needed.
Inspect area for cleanliness throughout the day.
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the day.
Maintain, clean, and properly store equipment.
Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
Other duties as required.
OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
Education/Training:
High School Diploma or GED
Water Safety certificate
CPR and First Aid
Lifeguard training certification.
Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:
Prior life guarding experience preferred.
Good communication skills required.
Strong swimming skills required.
Must be a team player.
Provide a pleasant and service oriented experience for guests.

Be able to work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions
Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 14 feet on A-frames and 21 feet on extension ladders)
Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity)
Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally to complete assigned job tasks
Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
Maintain a valid Florida driver's license
