Role and Responsibilities

  • Attends morning meeting and all other clinical meetings as assigned by supervisor
  • Ensure that all clinical practice is conducted under the supervision and direction of a BCBA/LABA
  • Attend all supervision appointments and track hours as required by the BACB and LARA
  • Provide ongoing support for clients in a residential setting
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments, skills assessments, and data analysis
  • Develop treatment plans (including Behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans)
  • Develop treatment plans based on the core components of Applied Behavior Analysis, using only those treatment methodologies that are evidence-based, individualized to the unique needs of each client, and based on raw data
  • Implement data collections, review, and modify treatment according to data
  • Document progress and update treatment plans
  • Manage caseload and prepare and submit all required documentation according to deadlines set forth by assessments, treatment plans, BSPs, insurance updates as required, session notes after every session, regular analysis of the data, and updating the treatment plans as needed
  • Oversee assessments, plan development, and ongoing program data analysis to ensure efficacy and client progress
  • Provide supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians assigned to clients on caseload
  • Attending staff and team meetings
  • Develop and conduct staff training, as assigned
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary, program management, health education and leadership teams
  • Remain current on new research and developments on behavior analysis through continuing education as required by LARA and the BACB
  • Demonstrate adherence to practice acts and codes of ethical professional conduct in all spheres of Applied Behavior Analytic practice
  • Maintain active BAaBA.LABA status

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Member in good standing* of the *BACB and* LARA*
  • Bachelors in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification
  • Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst with the State of Michigan
  • Experience developing, writing, implementing, and evaluating Behavior programs
  • Experience training staff in behavior analytic principles and procedures
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and strong computer skills
