Compensation

• $8 - $14 per hour Depending on Experience
• $300 sign on bonus paid after 90 days

Roles and Responsibilities

· Reports to the front of the house manager

· 100% Direct labor

· Safety and Compliance

o Must obtain all certifications required to serve alcohol and handle food within 90 days of hire

o Execute opening and closing checklists related to health and safety compliance

o Must be comfortable asking guests for identification for proof of age, cognizant of overserving, and aware of all business policies related to safety

· People

o Must be able to attend hands on training sessions with existing staff

o Must be able to learn other functional areas of the business (cooking, cleaning, dish washing, etc.)

o Must communicate promptly with direct managers and make efforts to understand organizations communication tools

o Must work scheduled hours

· Quality

o Ensure guests have a quality dining experience

o Ensure reactive solutions to accommodate guest dissatisfaction are immediately executed

o Go above and beyond to demonstrate service etiquette on and off the job

o Ensure front of house checklists that optimize customer experience are executed

o Ensure that front of the house atmosphere and general décor are appropriately maintained

· Responsiveness

o Understand all current events and promotions

o Alarm and escalate appropriate issues to immediate managers

· Cost

o Drive sales via upselling and menu item awareness

o Ensure correct inventory consumption of menu items by POS accuracy

o Apply POS discounts correctly

o Must follow clock in/clock out times to maintain labor compliance

Experience

• Must have o 3-5 years serving and/or bartending o Customer service o Balancing and maintaining a cash register o Point of Sale (POS) system usage
• Nice to have o Food Handlers license o Basset Certification o 7shifts App experience o Touch Bistro POS Experience
