If this sounds like a culture you’d like to be a part of, Bobby Jones Links is hiring Bartenders. Primary responsibilities include:
- Inspecting the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Requesting additional supplies as necessary.
- Following set-up procedures.
- Preparing garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greeting members and guests according to Bobby Jones Links’ standards.
- Mixing, preparing and serving drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager.
- Collecting checks/payment for drinks served.
- Reporting complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Keeping records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is always maintained..
- Attending staff meetings as required.
- Assisting with food servers and hostess if needed and based on daily staffing requirements and shortages.
Required Skills
- The ability to work toward a common goal.
- The ability to provide exemplary member and customer service.
- Must have a thorough working knowledge of the club’s operation.

- Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

- Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
