Exciting things are happening at Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge! We are focused on creating hospitality for our fine dining restaurant, upscale bar, casual grab-and-go, open center stage kitchen, and each of our healthcare areas.

Our Chefs bring their skills and knowledge to deliver a superb dining experience in each of our 11 dining venues, using local and fresh ingredients. Our bartenders are focused on the details when preparing house-made craft cocktails, and our wait staff is perfecting platinum service with the customized dining experience our residents have come to expect. Working with us is more than just a restaurant job, it is joining a team that soon will become family.
We are currently looking to fill a full-time Bartender/Server II position. The bartender is responsible for providing residents and guests with high quality meal & cocktail service by providing friendly, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests.
Responsibilities
- Take orders from guests and beverage orders from servers.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the standard drink recipes.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks for bar patrons.
- Monitor alcohol consumption in accordance with TIPS training.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining liquor, wine, beer and bar supplies.
Qualifications
- Must meet age requirements to serve alcohol.
- Experience working as a bartender in a specialty food/bar environment with a focus on high level customer service.
- Ability to work with attention to detail and minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of food, food preparation, and food and wine pairing.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required.

Requirements
- ServSafe Certification
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
