The Barista will be responsible for preparing teas, coffees, liquor coffees, freshly squeezed juices, and various drinks for the guests per the recipe and restaurant standards. Polish and buff all cutlery, silverware, plates, glasses, chopsticks etc.

  • Prepare and/or run teas, coffees, freshly squeezed juices and liquor coffees to tables and bar; serve to guests following restaurant’s standards of service
  • Buff/polish all cutlery, silverware, plates, glasses, chopsticks, etc. throughout service
  • Wash and polish glasses, china and silver to specified standards
  • Properly store glass and china stocks and ensure that any breakage is reported and recorded at the end of every shift using the breakage form provided; handle glassware carefully
  • Refill water pitchers for service and maintain throughout shift
  • Restock server stations with cutlery, silverware, plates, glasses, chopsticks, etc.
  • Assist Barback in preparing juices and takes place for bartenders if needed
  • Fold napkins to restaurant specifications using napkin template
  • Stock up the restaurant’s side stations and expo line for the shift to specified par levels (glasses, cutlery, chinaware, condiments, napkins, marking trays, wiping cloths, trays, etc.);
  • Maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the Infusion station.
  • Clean and dry any spillages, effectively and efficiently; never leave spillages unattended. Make sure all equipment is clean and in good condition and continue replenishing stock throughout your shift
  • Ensure closing cleaning procedures are followed and cooperate with the team in completing the bar’s end of shift duties
  • Prepare trash bins for service and maintain throughout shift. Change trash bags, napkin bags, etc. as appropriate throughout your shift
  • Change sanitation buckets every two hours or as needed (if applicable)
  • Clean and tidy the storage room and other stock locations on a regular basis or as directed by management. Clean the tools and work surfaces you use (black cloths, sinks, shelves and surfaces, cupboards, etc.)
  • Ensure ice buckets are properly filled every two hours or as needed
  • Notify bar manager / management team daily of any stock in Infusion area that may be running low
  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties to specified standard and in accordance with the assigned cleaning schedule
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction and escalate to management when necessary
  • Maintain complete knowledge of proper table/tray set ups
  • Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in related field
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 21+ years of age
  • Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
