REPORTS TO: Faculty Director of Bar Exam Services

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

SALARY RANGE: $30 per hour

DAY & HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 30.0 hours per week. Flexible schedule will require evening and weekend hours during peak periods. This is a term limited position for up to 9 weeks in duration.


BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:


Work with Director of Bar Exam Services to provide individualized and/or group tutoring support for GGU graduates in their preparation for the California bar examination or other states/regions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide one-on-one counseling to GGU students preparing for the bar exam.
  • Check in with set group of recent graduates/exam takers weekly.
  • Track graduates' progress on Themis platform.
  • Grade practice essays and performance test exams.
  • Conduct review workshops with group of graduates.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • JD Required and member of State Bar of California.
  • Comfort with California bar subjects is required.
  • Must have experience grading for a state bar or bar review company.
  • Must be experienced using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
