Banquet Server Job at Bretton Woods Rec
Bretton Woods Recreation Center is hiring for the position of Banquet Server.
This position will anticipate the member & guest needs and provide a memorable experience. Essential Functions:
- Responsible for timely and efficient service of food and beverage during events such as private parties, weddings, family celebrations, golf outings and retreats
- Set up for events by putting out tables, chairs and place settings, arranging room and setting up buffets
- Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests
- Table service including keeping glasses filled, removing each round of plates and replenishing utensils
- Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
- Ability to work as part of a team from kitchen to dining room
- Anticipate member and guest needs, remaining a step ahead with continuous service
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear required uniform; you are a representative of Bretton Woods
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and command of English language
- Knowledge of food and beverage service and the sequence of service
- Ability to work in a fast paced situations
- Ability to carry trays with fragile materials as well as do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work an variable schedule to include mornings, nights, weekends and Holidays
