An ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys working with food, in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate for this position will be well versed in baking multiple types of pastries and desserts, and will be familiar with the processes and procedures involved in operating the bakery. A background in sales is helpful, as well as an understanding of the produce section. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a bakery or restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough and other bakery ingredients according to recipes and baked goods types.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations when mixing ingredients.
- Assist with the preparation of baked goods before baking.
- Keep production areas clean.
- Keep production areas organized for efficiency.
- Assist with the storage of finished baked goods.
