Overview
Our Client is hiring a strategic role to support the Intelligence Community’s (IC) technological advancements. The ideal candidate will develop solutions which enhance capabilities to intake, store, process, enrich, and share intelligence information. The ideal candidate will influence and shape the trajectory of the client organization’s IT environment, and ultimately how the organization delivers business value through the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS cloud native solutions.
Responsibilities
- Defines future state architectures for AWS cloud native systems and applications in low to high pipelines (low, secret, TS/SCI). Translates product requirements into full stack designs and architectures.
- Provides subject matter expertise in AWS GovCloud and cloud native Architecture.
- Provides subject matter expertise in Agile, DevSecOps, user-centric design processes and micro-service architecture.
- Influences and increases the cloud IQ of government decision-makers, Product Owners, and IC stakeholders. Provides technical and business rationale for IT decisions. Collaboratively establishes an IT Cloud Modernization roadmap, leveraging the 5Rs, for the client organization’s on-prem systems and applications.
- Mentors and coaches technical contractor personnel and invests in their cloud computing aptitude and skill growth.
- Coaches and trains system operators and application users on cloud computing best practices along with the rigor of DevSecOps and management of CI/CD pipelines.
- Applies NIST, FISMA, and Zero Trust standards to solutions and works with the IT organization’s CISO and Security Engineer(s) to verify security controls and continuous monitoring are in place and navigate through the ATO process, when needed.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Researches and develops proof of concepts, prototypes and demos for client, conferences, and industry events.
- Contributes to technical white papers, marketing collateral and AWS Community of Interest events.
- Provides advisory support to active engagements for architecture reviews, technology design reviews, and best practices’ consultation.
- Demonstrates leadership as a corporate citizen, occasionally helping the Business Unit and Technology Solutions Group as a pre-sales engineer, winning new AWS business, and establishing the infrastructure and overall IT modernization roadmaps on newly awarded contracts.
Qualifications
- Must have experience with DoD CC SRG Impact Level 6 (IL6) and/or the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS).
- Possesses at least 1 Associate or Professional active AWS certification(s).
- At least 7 years of IT experience with the majority spent within cloud computing disciplines.
- At least 3 years of AWS experience. Experience working in or with AWS ProServe is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working within low to high AWS pipelines (low, secret, TS/SCI) highly desired.
- Knowledge about DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, containers, and related best practices for cloud deployment.
- Experience programming in C# and .NET Framework /.NET Core is desired.
- Understanding of cloud federation technologies such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect and how to apply these technologies to enterprise applications.
- Able to translate product requirements into full-stack design and architecture.
- Demonstrated experience supporting applications with 99% uptime high availability requirements.
- Familiarity with government cloud deployments (FedRAMP, FISMA, high security environments)
- Awareness of cloud information security risks and best practices, especially in highly secure operating environment.
- Understands and can clearly communicate software development patterns and practices to business and technical stakeholders alike.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $103,920.58 - $190,940.98 per year
