The Church Communication Department (CCD) seeks a communication professional to help develop and manage integrated awareness strategy for the global organization.

Position responsibilities include developing and managing extensive research plans, analyzing findings, identifying insights, preparing communication briefs, coordinating plan implementation, and helping measure results. This person will have demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically and identify and apply data insights.

The candidate will coordinate with team members to use existing and potential new tools and processes to achieve organizational alignment with the integrated awareness strategy.

The candidate will work with other departments to articulate the organization’s core experience* and communication principles, ensuring that all products, events, and communications consistently reflect the experience and principles.

This person is a skilled listener and communicator, faithful, positive, culturally competent, persistent, accountable, high-achieving, and entrepreneurial. She/he has an exceptional sense of professional integrity and is confident and candid when providing challenging or complicated information to leaders and colleagues. She/he helps center all aspects of the work on Jesus Christ.

  • With other departments and vendors, help design, assess, and apply research findings related to Church awareness efforts.
  • Identify insights, challenges, and opportunities, incorporating these findings toward integrated awareness planning.
  • Write compelling audience and research summaries based on data and aligned with awareness strategy.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure strategy alignment with an integrated approach.
  • Contribute to employee understanding and application of enterprise awareness initiatives and communication objectives.
  • Help develop, launch, and support enterprise communication plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum seven years of management experience, including large-scale projects in the communication, branding, or marketing fields.
  • 3-5 years of strategic planning for or within a complex organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, business, branding, advertising, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with large-scale organizational employee engagement plans.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams through cross-organizational activities.
