Job Overview
This individual will support the VP of Finance Systems in managing system administration and customer support for critical solutions within Finance. The AVP will be responsible for monitoring the health of Finance systems, providing top tier customer support to users and key stakeholders, and leading strategic initiatives to optimize the systems and associated processes. This will entail managing a small team of analysts, providing leadership and support to ensure the success and satisfaction of our customers.
Ideal Candidate: A leader with a customer focused attitude who has extensive experience supporting financial systems and enhancing core processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the performance of systems administration, support, maintenance and enhancement of our core financial systems, including the general ledger, planning and reporting systems
- Provide a customer centric experience for business partners, providing first level support
- Provide support and guidance to staff, ensuring individuals are properly cross-trained on core systems and processes
- Build and maintain relationships within Finance, Technology, other business organizations, and with third party vendors
- Oversees solution testing, training and communication strategies
- Oversee the maintenance of documentation including system runbooks, process narratives, process flows, and policies and procedures
- Ensure the maintenance of training documentation for end users on system functionality and processes
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment
- Recommends and implements process improvement/reengineering initiatives
- Partner closely with our Product Management team in support of various initiatives

Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience is required
- Specific experience supporting various financial systems
Core Competencies
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff
- A solid understanding of Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury functions and processes
- Experience leading and/or support system upgrades and enhancements
- Strong technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and activities
- Understanding of SOX controls and ensuring compliance over financial reporting
Preferences
- CPA, CFA, MBA
- Alteryx, Tableau, MS Access, VBA, and SQL
- Oracle R12, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Trintech Cadency, Ariba, and Concur experience
Pay Range:
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
