AVEVA E3D Designer
About us
We are looking for a skilled multidiscipline Designer utilizing AVEVA E3D to join our growing design group. The individual must be a self-starter with strong communication skills. Advanced technical skills and background in 3D design are essential.
Responsibilities will include working with a team of engineering designers and engineers, preparing drawing packages for submittal, fostering less experienced designers, building client relations, project managing, and building business development. As an advanced technical specialist, you will develop unique solutions to problems introduced by our industry and clients while providing the highest quality services. Project experience should include multidiscipline projects with an emphasis on energy processing systems and piping.
The ideal candidate will have both technical and leadership skills. Must have the ability to work independently and have conflict resolution skills. The candidate will need strong time management skills and a desire to pursue excellence and improvement with every project. Advanced understanding of piping, process systems, structures, and instrumentation/electrical. Excitement and willingness to work in a team setting.
Key Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Create process flow diagrams, P&IDs, isometric, piping plan, general arrangement, and detail drawings;
- Prepare and create drawings utilizing Autocad;
- Follow and incorporate client and company standards;
- Develop and organize bill of materials (MTO’s) for project materials;
- Attend site visits, as needed, for project information and as-building piping, equipment, structures, etc;
- Work and coordinate with other contractors on multidiscipline projects;
- Perform quality assurance checks of 3D models and drawing packages;
- Read and incorporate equipment drawings from third party vendors to implement into design;
- Work closely with other designers, engineers, and project managers;
- Maintain professional conduct, content, and appearance with internal project team and clients;
- Prepare project scope and schedule;
- Make changes and revisions as directed by team leads;
- Meet tight project deadlines and work under pressure; and
- Communicate both verbally and in writing with team members.

- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience including multi-disciplined design experience.
Preferred:
- AVEVA – Aveva P&ID
- AVEVA – Aveva DRAW
- Autodesk – Plant3D
- Microstation
- Cadworx
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
