AV Support Engineer Job at UnifiedCommunications
As an AV Support Engineer, you will work with multiple internal teams to support our clients as a first point of contact and resolving their technical issues. We will rely on you to actively listen to our clients, use your technical experience, passion, and creativity to meet their needs and deliver a world-class experience across every interaction you have with them. In this role, you will not only be there to help clients with their hardware, software, and account issues, but also provide them with exceptional service. You will be working independently from home and will be expected to collaborate with several teams in a remote setting.

- Collecting necessary data to assist clients efficiently and effectively with their ticket
- Taking meticulous notes and documenting all steps taken in attempt to troubleshoot and resolve a ticket
- Escalating tickets to leadership and/or partners in order to overcome any hurdles in efficiently resolving the ticket
- Assisting our integration team while they are at a client site
- Establishing a relationship with our partners
- Identifying and escalating sales opportunities for products and services
- Keeping up to date with Microsoft Teams suite of products
- This includes but is not limited to:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Microsoft Teams Phones
- Microsoft Teams Displays
- Microsoft Teams Panels
- This includes but is not limited to:
- 3+ years of AV Installation and support experience
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
- AV conference room solutions experience
- Crestron CTI certifications
- Other AV Partner certifications
- Enterprise networking
- Programming custom code for integrated conference rooms
