Here at United CDJR, we aim to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction that extends past the initial sale. While the Sales Department strives to provide innovative and cost-effective vehicles, the Service and Parts departments aim to minimize downtime and provide our team with the tools needed for success.
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic parts manager to join our team. Recently relocated to a brand new 30,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art service and parts facility, our dealership features one of the largest service and parts facilities in the five boroughs.
Our dealership aims to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction that extends past the initial sale. While the Sales Department strives to provide innovative and cost-effective vehicles, our Service and Parts departments will aim to minimize downtime and provide our team with the tools needed for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead the parts department, retail, and wholesale customers.
· Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
· Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
· Keep up-to-date on manufacturer warranty, policy, and return procedures.
· Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
· Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
· Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
· Work with the service manager to ensure parts are in-stock or ordered in a timely manner as needed for all service repairs.
· Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
· Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Professional appearance and work ethnic.
· 2+ years of related experience in automotive parts management preferred
· Ability to read, interpret and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, short correspondence, procedure manuals and memos.
· Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle sensitive date and multi-task so that deadlines can be met.
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
