Position Overview:
As a Paint Shop Leader your will be responsible for working as an acting as a “Working Leader” to set the standard for excellence in quality, and prepare and paint vehicles and components.

As a leader in the industry, GLS works with the largest automotive original equipment manufacturers, providing such services as show, event, and advertising vehicle prep, event staging and on-site tech support, vehicle management, retrofit, and logistical support.

Paint Shop Leader Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist paint and body technicians.
- Uphold and enforce the highest standards of quality at each project stage.
- Paint prototype, specialty, and pre-production vehicles.
- Dent repair.
- Prep for paint.
- Match existing orange peel.
- Color blending and match.
- Spies Hecker waterborne.
- Sand and polish.
- Block sanding.
- Solve alignment and fitment issues.
Paint Shop Leader Qualifications:
- Proven consistent work history.
- Successful candidates should have 5+ years industry experience, a career-focused mindset, and be highly motivated team players.
- Previous experience in a specialty vehicle environment.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Clean background record.
- Verifiable work history.
- Certifications a plus.
