Job Location: Moorhead

We are interested in adding an Auto Mechanic to our team at Muscatell Subaru. On a day to day basis, an individual in this position will be responsible for the following:

• Diagnosing mechanical and/or electrical problems on all brands of used vehicles, and performing repair work as needed.
• Conducting routine maintenance work on used vehicles aiming to prolong vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Repairing or replacing broken or dysfunctional vehicle parts and fixing various fluid leaks (oil, coolant, etc.).
• Communicating directly with the service advisor(s) or manager regarding the status of the service work.
• Learning new technical information and repair techniques as required by the manufacturer/dealership.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the department manager/supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2-3 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• Knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.) preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet dealership insurance requirements.

Skills:

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic with strong diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication skills to confidently converse with customers/clients.
• Must have a strong work ethic and act with integrity and professionalism.
• Goals driven with a team-work attitude.

Work Hours:

• 8-hour shift.
• 8:00am - 5:00pm: 1-hour lunch.
• Monday to Friday.
