Alexander Business Law, PLLC, is looking to hire an experienced attorney.

What We Do:

The firm provides transactional legal representation to owners of closely held businesses primarily in the areas of business relationships and transfers, including:

• Creating “partnerships” through operating agreements, shareholders agreements and strategic relationships,
• Adding partners/co-owners to existing business entities,
• Buying and selling businesses through asset sales, equity transactions (stock and membership sales), and mergers, and
• Preparing and implementing business succession arrangements.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?

The ideal candidate is an experienced attorney who wants to enjoy practicing law while having a life outside of work. The ideal candidate possesses the following capabilities and characteristics:

• Writes well and can verbally communicate complicated legal concepts in lay terms over telephone, during video conferences, and in face-to-face meetings,
• Is proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products and Clio,
• Has been a member in good standing of the Florida Bar for at least 5 years,
• Has previously developed and maintained client relationships, and is interested in developing a book of business within the firm, and
• Is interested in small business beyond the legal issues.
• An understanding of corporate and business transactions,
• Has experience writing corporate and commercial documents,
• Three or more years in transactional law,
• Being passionate about the business of law, and
• Has experience with Internet based marketing.
• Is attentive to details and a quick learner.

This is not an entry level position. We are willing to train an attorney with significant experience in another transactional area of law who has the above capabilities and characteristics and is willing to learn a new practice area.
