Summary:
Develops and acquires new high net worth relationships, both personal and commercial, to offer full array of financial services. As the central relationship manager to the Bank’s high net-worth clients, develops new client relationships that can benefit from one or more of the Banks’ banking and wealth management services including banking services, residential and commercial lending, cash management, and wealth management.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and develops new clients to build a relationship with goal of providing solutions for all their financial needs
- Generates revenue for Wealth Management including Deposits, Residential Mortgage Lending, and Commercial Lending
- As the central relationship manager, ensures clients are receiving highest possible level of services and that all financial needs are being identified and addressed
- Proactively advises and consults with clients and prospects to present Cambridge Trust’s available financial services
- Closely monitors performance of client accounts to ensure accounts are meeting client needs. Maintains awareness of client’s goals, income, and spending.
- Develops and maintains strong centers of influence (“COI”) network that can serve as referral network for potential prospects and new clients
- Performs additional duties, as needed to fulfill needs of the client and the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in financial services including:
- 4 years in a business development position
- 3 years of business development experience in the financial services industry OR
- 3 years of experience in Private Banking and/or Wealth Management
- 2 years’ experience in developing investment proposals/business development presentations
- 3 years’ experience working with high net worth individuals and families, privately held businesses, private partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
- 4 years in a business development position
- Strong knowledge of banking, lending, and wealth management products
- Excellent business development, marketing, and client service skills
- Strong analytical, time management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in growth environment
- Ability to build new relationships with both centers of influence, potential clients, and referral sources
- Knowledge of Merrimack Valley professional community
