ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST
SEATTLE, WA

Project Description:
- In this individual contributor, lab-based role the Associate Scientist will work in a collaborative environment to perform characterization testing to support process and platform development programs.
- This position will report to the Custom & Process Analytics (CPA) lead.
- The incumbent will join a characterization testing group that values data quality, high productivity, and teamwork.
- Execute multiparameter flow cytometry (phenotypic, functional assays, etc.).
- Analyze and report high quality data with an emphasis quick turnaround.
- Work 1with CPA stakeholders and partners to support quick assay turnaround-times.
- Detail work and summarize results in peer reviewed Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) entries.
- Assist with routine lab maintenance and help maintain inventory of lab supplies and reagents.
Required Skills:
- 2 years of relevant lab experience.
- 6 months+ multiparameter flow cytometry experience using Flowjo for data analysis.
- Aseptic technique.
- Ability to work in a self-driven, fast-paced team environment and prioritize work on multiple projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented with strong scientific technical writing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office products.
- Familiarity with assay and liquid automation systems.
- Execution of multiplexed cell-based assays (e.g., Luminex, ELISA, etc.).
- Assay development.
- Experience handling, phenotyping, and analyzing primary human T cells in a high throughput setting.
- Familiarity with immunology and cell biology pertaining to the development of cell-based therapeutics.
- Trained in JMP analysis.
This 12+ month position starts ASAP.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.32 - $52.16 per hour
