We are seeking a creative problem-solver with detail orientation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for service, to join our Global Relations team. Our team is working to enhance our worldwide support of health-based research by delivering a spectacular international distribution experience. Most work is performed Mon-Fri from office or office/home, with some flexibility required off-hours for rotated urgent support. Training, educational opportunities, and career ladder in place for a motivated individual with appropriate mindset.
Responsibilities include:
  • Arrange safe and stress-free shipments of live mice across a rapidly changing globe
  • Communicate with customers (mostly written), build relationships, manage orders
  • Devise and implement improvements in both infrastructure and process.
Qualifications:
  • Strong software skills: Demonstrated ability to leverage software applications, including Excel.
  • Self-starter with proven track record of creative problem-solving.
  • Exceptionally articulate written and verbal skillset to comply with contracts and regulations, communicate clearly with non-native English speakers, and produce consistently accurate and professional communications.
  • Comfortable pivoting at short notice to evaluate and address urgent, time-sensitive requests.
  • 8+ years of experience in managing projects, service, logistics, and/or supervision in a technical environment, or BA/BS degree in related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
This role will require at least 20% of time onsite.
