Overview:

Scope of Position: *The Discipleship Intensive Programming Associate assists the WinShape College Program (WSCP) Discipleship Intensive team in planning and executing discipleship intensive programming, including 5-Day and 3-Day intensives. This role includes overseeing events, mentoring college-aged students, and contributing to excellent programming to all audiences.

Reports to: * Manager, Discipleship Intensives Programming – College Program
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the planning and execution of Discipleship Intensives including working with staff and training student leaders to facilitate the event and traveling to year round events
- Assists in event planning and logistics including calendaring, content development, and content delivery
- Provides occasional content for partner relations and monthly newsletter to partners
- Provides occasional content for digital marketing
- Provides mentoring for Discipleship Intensive summer interns and DI participants in need of further assistance as they lead a small group
- Assists in the interview, selection, & training process for summer and year-round interns
- Assists the Discipleship Intensive team in developing the programming elements & logistical needs specific to each intensive
- Oversee the daily operations and manage the staff for one of the 5-Day events and multiple 3-Day events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 0-2 years of college ministry experience preferred
- Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and in presentations to students and ministry leaders
- A self-professing Christ follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis
- Has a passion for college students to know Jesus Christ and live for Him
- Possess a valid driver’s license and has an acceptable driving record
