Assistant teacher with an informational technology at CTK
Christ the King Catholic School is looking for an assistant teacher with an informational technology background to assist teachers in grades 3 to 5 with in-person instruction. Classes sizes are small, and the applicant will be working with experienced and sociable teachers. Christ the King Catholic School has excellent students who have high standards and are focused on learning and achieving high academic results. The teachers are team oriented and well prepared.
Classroom Duties
- Provides assistance with classroom organization, management, and presentation/development of classroom instruction, Works under general supervision of the instructional staff.
- Works closely with teacher and students.
- Follows the operating guidelines required by the state and Archdiocese of Detroit.
- Assists the teacher in the preparation of educational materials for students.
- Works individually with students and/or in small groups to help reinforce learning objectives.
- Assists with all aspects of the daily routine, including distributing and collecting supplies, keeping attendance records, and all other instructional Quality guidelines as assigned.
- Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
- Assists with preparing and maintaining learning centers for instruction.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
Education and Experience:
Associates or bachelor's degree is required
Experience:
Classroom experience and/or proven ability to work with children preferred.
0 - 1 year experience required
Minimum Qualifications:

- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Pay Rate
18.00 Per Hour
